Review by hotel critic
Nestled just a few blocks from the train station, Domaine Du Val De Cèze was an ideal spot for my much-needed retreat. The serene environment made it easy to explore the nearby shops while soaking up the peaceful atmosphere of the town. I appreciated the helpful recommendations for dining in the area, especially as the on-site restaurant was closed for the winter season. During my stay, I took advantage of the outdoor pool and sunbathing terrace, which would be quite inviting when the warmth of summer settles in. The seasonal pool opens in June, and I can imagine it being a highlight wishing to unwind after a day of exploration. I indulged in the octopus dish at a local bistro, a delightful experience that showcased the region's culinary richness. Breakfast at the hotel provided a decent start to my day, while the multilingual staff were always eager to assist. My experience here offered the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, leaving me with a sense of tranquility to carry on my travels. I would consider returning when the pool is open and the gardens are in full bloom.
